Advanced Group held a cocktail evening at Waipuna Highbrook last week where they announced the winners of their annual, Supplier Awards.

The Advanced Group converges Advanced Security, (www.asgl.co.nz), ASG Technologies (www.asgtechnologies.co), Cablenet (www.cablenet.co.nz), and IT Engine (www.itengine.co.nz) into one ultimate business. Each company still operates as a separate entity, but the Advanced Group brand better enables them to collaborate on future innovations, ICT infrastructure and systems, cutting-edge IT, and unrivalled physical security solutions.

The Advanced Group businesses honour Aotearoa’s top suppliers each year. The awards celebrate outstanding relationships, and honour those across the supply chain who are integral in delivering enhanced outcomes to customers.

The awards selection process examines every aspect of the relationship through extensive surveys to uncover meaningful feedback, innovations, and integrations between the Advanced Group businesses and their suppliers.

We were thrilled to have most of our suppliers attend the evening, as having a physical celebration was an opportunity to bring people face-to-face and appreciate the connections that contributed to a successful year.

During the event, Hayden George, the Advanced Security GM commented, “It’s really awesome to have people in a room together and not on a screen, it’s like a room full of long-lost friends. Our suppliers have done a sterling job amidst the supply challenges over the last 12 months, and have made a massive difference for us all at Advanced Security”.

As we continue to feel the effects of COVID-19 in the supply chain, we recognise how valuable our relationships are with our suppliers. Amanda Moore, IT Engine’s Business Manager commented “The supply chain issues for the IT industry for the past couple of years have been extremely challenging, but amidst these challenges, our suppliers continue to go above and beyond to deliver to us, and we do really appreciate it. It’s nice to have the opportunity to say thank you.”
